How we’ll work together

  1. You get in touch

    2. Send me an email outlining the work you need support with, including the project stage and your preferred timeframe.

    This helps me quickly assess availability and suitability.

  2. We agree on scope, fee and timing

    3. I work on either a fixed fee or an hourly rate, depending on the scope and certainty of the work.

    For fixed-fee tasks, I’ll provide a written proposal for approval, along with a clear timeframe for delivery.

  3. I work independently.

    4. Once engaged, I work autonomously to progress the drawings. I’ll get in touch only when input or clarification is required.

    Where possible, I’ll undertake product research, check relevant standards and carry out drawing reviews before issuing documents to minimise back-and-forth.

  4. You review and finalise

    5. You review the drawings and provide consolidated feedback for adjustments.

    Some designers prefer to take documents in-house for final changes, while others keep me involved through to completion. The approach is entirely up to you and how much control you want over the final documentation.
